| Description: | Wer wir sind: Die Knights of the Table sind ein Verein von begeisterten Tabletop-Spielern aus dem Grossraum St. Gallen, bzw. Raum Ostschweiz. Das Einzugsgebiet unserer Mitglieder erstreckt sich vom Rheintal bis ins Toggenburg und vom Appenzellerland bis zum Bodensee. In unserem Verein sind alle Altersklassen vertreten. Anfänger wie Veteranen messen an den Spieltischen ihr Können. Was wir tun: Ziel des Vereines ist es, den Kontakt der Spieler untereinander zu fördern. Daher veranstalten die Knights of the Table mindestens einmal im Monat einen Spieltreff. An diesen Treffs kann nach Lust und Laune gespielt, Figuren bewundert und gefachsimpelt werden. Grundsätzlich spielen wir alle Spiele, welche unter die Rubrik "Tabletop" fallen. Schwerpunkte bilden jedoch klar die beiden Spielsysteme Warhammer Fantasy und Warhammer 40'000 von Games Workshop sowie deren Nebensysteme. Um diesem Zweck gerecht zu werden, verfügen wir über eine stattliche Sammlung von Vereinsgelände, welche ständig erweitert wird. Um uns im sportlichen Wettkampf messen zu können, veranstalten wir pro Hauptsystem mindestens ein Turnier pro Jahr und halten ebenfalls guten Kontakt zu anderen Schweizer Tabletop-Vereinen. |
