Le croissant et le croque - Information and Rules

Dear SAGA players


On July the 16th we will have SAGA tournament, under the blistering summer sun we will duke out crusader age battles. Hurrah!

This event will involve SAGA the crescent and the cross armies and scenario's. We will play 3 battles. In the end every participator will be rewarded with a small tournament goodie, there will be a price for the best cristian dice player, a price for the top muslim dice player and a price for the best painted army.


How to prepare:
Please send your 6 point armylist to SAGA@conectr-team.be before Monday the 10th of July. Clearly indicate the points breakdown of your army. You can choose to bring: crusaders, milites christi, spanish, moors, saracens, mutatawwi from the C&C book or byzantines from the varjazi & basileus book.
Claerly state your points breakdown. If you are bringing: a priest, a hero of the crusades or dogs and/of war you must clearly state this and these units must be used every battle. As far as equipment and unit composition you can change this each battles as intended in the SAGA rules

Practicals:
The venue opens at 10 am. Please show up timely and bring 10 euro's as this will be your entree fee. In return for this you'll get 3 drink vouchers, some price support, great gaming mats, scenery and opponents to play with. We will provide fresh croissants in the morning to get everybody started.

please bring your (preferably painted) army, dice, rulebook, battleboard, glue,... 40mm markers for the first scenario will also come in handy.

In case of a discussion try to solve it as gentlemen, if looking up the rules or throwing a D6 will not solve the matter the judge will decide.

Victory conditions are clearly stated in the C&C scenario's. A victory will provide the winner 3 points. A draw gives each player 1 point. A loss means 0 points. Sending in your list in time will account for 1 point. In total there are 10 points to be won.
In case of equal points in the ranking the tiebreaker will be the amount of points your 3 opponents scored. 2nd tiebreaker the saughtering points you gaind in battle 1 & 3.

Best painted army will be voted by the participants between battle 2 and 3.
