TEAM COMPOSITION
As final EML’s event, each team must be ranked in top 6 after Milano event.
To be legit the squad must be built with 5 players who already played an EML tourney with the same team.
In case the team can not bring 4 legit players, a maximum of 1 player can be add as mercenary. This player must has never played for another EML team.
Also during pairing, the legit EML team can choose the pairing (player and secondary objective) of the opponent’s mercenary.
No army can be represented in a team more than once! This rule means chosen armies must come from 5 different T9A army books

LANGUAGE
If French can not be spoken by both opponents, mandatory language will be English. Attendees are expected to express themselves in that language when games are on. This includes any discussions to coaches, captains or other players. If team members talking together during a game in a language that cannot be understood by other player, this problem can be brought before the T.O/referee

PAIRING SYSTEM
Each captain will receive 5 army cards and 6 secondary objective cards

Pairing sequence 5 players-team with 2 decks of 5 army cards and 2 decks of 6 secondary objective cards.
Step 1 - “The opening” (first two matchups).
1.1 Both Team Captains select one army and 2 secondary objectives from their Team decks to put forward to play on table and place the cards for this army face down along with the two secondary objectives cards also face down.
1.2. Once both Teams have selected an army, turn the army and secondary objective cards face up.
1.3. Both Team Captains now pick the opposing secondary objective cards and select two armies from the remaining four in hand to face the opposing army revealed in the Step 1.2.
The armies and secondary objectives put forward by each Team are kept secret and revealed at the same time;
1.4. Each Team Captain selects one of the two opposing armies revealed in Step 1.3 to play against the friendly army that they have revealed in Step 1.2. The other army card and secondary card is taken back into its own Team Captain’s hand, and each Team Captain has 3 army and 5 secondary objective cards remaining.

Step 2 - “The Showdown” (matchups 3, 4 and 5)
2.1. Repeat Step 1.1 and 1.2;
2.2. Repeat Step 1.3: both Team Captains select two armies to play against the army revealed by the opposing Team and pick one of secondary objective proposed by the opposing captain in Step 2.1. This choice should be fairly easy, because both Team Captains should have only two cards remaining in their hands; 3. Each Team Captain selects one of the two opposing armies revealed in Step 2.2 to play against the army that they have revealed in Step 2.1. This will determine the pairings for table 3 and 4 for the round. The remaining army from each team will play against each other on table 5. The choice of army is kept secret until both Team Captains have made their choice. This step will determine the last three pairings for the round, and your round is completely set up.
For the 5th and last pairing, each captain must have 1 army card and 4 secondary objective left. They put both their last army card without any objective card on the table. The fifth secondary is randomized per rules book.

TABLE, TERRAINS & DEPLOYMENTS
We will have predefined game tables that will follow the guidelines from the T9A-Map-Pack (General Maps). Each table will have his own predefined deployment.
We will make sure that every table has a sheet with the detailed setup on it available
We ask all players to reset the terrain on the tables after their games to make sure that the following teams play under same circumstances.
You can of course use the tables as aprons for your army boxes and stuff, but there is no need to move the terrain while doing that.
