- The lists will be controlled and published at least o week prior to the tournament to give every player the possibility to do some special rules and anti tactics research

Missions
- We will randomly use 4 missions out of the ETC 2016 mission pool.
- If that isn't announced until end of January we will instead choose them following the official rules of Circuito Italiano (see pdf: http://www.fowitalia.com/ewExternalFiles/Regolamento_GIOC_CN_quartaedizione-4.pdf) <= translation is made and waiting for being uploaded

Games
The duration of a game is 2:45h, starting from the official announcement that game has begun.
There will be an overtime period of 15 minutes to even out turns if necessary.

This time is divided by:
- 15 minutes for each player’s deployment
- 2h actual game time
- additional 15 minutes to even out turns

All platoons not deployed after the initial time period start the game in scattered reserves, following the normal rules and coming from the back of the player’s deployment-zone. If there is no back, randomly choose one of the sides where your zone is touching the border (i.e. "Surrounded")

If two fortified lists meet, they do ALWAYS play the mission „No Man’s Land“

Minimum number of turns
If a mission having winning conditions like i.e. „from turn six on…“ is played and after end of playing time this turn-limit is not reached, BOTH players calculate point like having lost. (P. 275)

Pairing
Pairings are made following the swiss chess system (1st vs. 2nd, 3rd vs. 4th…) with these modifications:

Turn 1: Pairings are made randomly. As far as possible, the organizer tries to pair each player with an opponent not from his family club, city or clique.
Turn 2-3: The organizer tries to pair each player with an opponent not from his family club, city or clique, by making minor changes (i.e. 1st vs. 3rd and 2nd vs. 4th…)
Turn 4: In the last turn, games are paired in a way that (again: as far as possible) the players within the first 6 ranks don’t play an opponent from the same family, club, city or clique.

Role of the organizers and referees
Organizers and/or referees that want to participate at a tournament and the whole championship may do so, but have to send in their lists at another organizer who does NOT play this event before they do receive any other players list. Missions must be chosen randomly at the tournament site.

Referees
The amount of referees needed to be present at an events depends on how many players are there.
- 1 referee if there are no more then 10 players

- 3 referees starting from 17 players

Rules

- all rule-changes made until end of January will be valid

National Ranking
Each player earns points for the Campionato Italiano (Italian Championship) basing on his tournament rankings following the Battlefront given point system.

These points are calculated as follows:

- 76+(number of players at this tournament)/2+5 bonus points (valid only for the christmas tournament in Rome and the final tournament in Florence).
- The final rankings consider the 4 best single rankings a player has achieved. If he has only played 1-3 tournaments, he enters the rankings with these points.

Validity for the national ranking
This tournament need to have at least 8 players to be valid for the main ranking (these 8 players have to be physically present at the tournament site).
