Glitzer Cup #1 - Tournament Schedule and Scoring

EVENT SCHEDULE
Day 1 (15.03.2025):
● 8:00 – 8:45: Doors open & registration
● 8:45 – 9:00: Greeting
● 9:00 – 12:00: Round 1
● 12:00 – 13:00: Lunch break (Each player can have a buffet dinner, if he paid for it in advance - more infos to follow - only possible if 10+ people order the dinner )
● 13:00 – 16:00: Round 2
● 16:00 – 16:30: Break
● 16:30 – 19:30: Round 3
Possibility to stay over night directly in the event location (a&o Hostel Graz Hauptbahnhof)

TOURNAMENT SCORING
Players will be paired randomly in the first round, whereby pairings of players from the same club will be avoided, and then according to the Swiss tournament system. The current tournament placing of each player will be determined through primary and secondary scoring.
The Tournament will be held via Best Coast Pairings (https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/event/1ojA1e6UAqIc?active_tab=overview).
It is recommended for each player to download the BCP player app before the tournament starts, to be able to see their upcoming matchup and the table where it will be played. Players can also enter their results by their own in the app. Before finally entering the result, show it to your opponent. Enter the result only after your opponent has agreed with it. If a wrong result was entered or both players don’t agree over the result entered or both players don’t use the BCP player app, contact the organizer team to fill in your result.
