Accessories

What you need to play:
- Any rules you might require; your battletome, general’s handbook, expansion book, Battlescroll update, white dwarf and FAQ/Designer’s commentary. At any time, when asked you need to be able to show the rules for your army.
- Your own dice. Make sure they are readable and clear for your opponent; this means pips should be clearly visible and any special symbols that replace a result should be on the same side (eg, no rolling a number of dice of which some have the symbol on 6 and some on 1).
- Your own tape measure.
- Your printed out army list to show your opponent.
- Your army. It does not have to be painted but any army that’s not fully painted (GW tabletop ready standard and finished base) will be excluded from any painting prizes.

Covid regulations

Still a part of our daily lives, we will keep you updated for any covid related regulations. Facemasks will still be obligatory. Should the tournament be cancelled due to regulations, full refunds will be paid out.
We also ask you to take everyone’s safety in consideration, should you feel sick then stay home. If you can’t attend due to quarantine or other reasons, please let us know.

Army lists

The tournament will be following the most updated rules in the general’s handbook and Battescroll update. Lists should be made with Warscroll Builder and will consist of up to 2000 points following the limitations described in the general’s handbook 2021.
Artefacts, battalions, command traits, spells, prayers, etc… need to be clear on the list. If it’s not on the list it can’t be used. Anything released before 30/01/2022 can be used on the tournament.

Mail your army list to thegreenknight.brugge@gmail.com before 05-02-2022

Tournament rules

Battles will be played on 60”x44” gaming mats which will be taped off. Games will be played in the realm of Ghur according to the General’s Handbook 2021.
Terrain will be placed by the staff, but can be rearranged if both players agree to it.
We encourage the use of models outside of the Citadel range. Prequisite are that models are WYSIWYG and on the correct base size. Is it important that you clearly communicate to your opponent what each model represents. There should be no confusion for anyone what their opponent’s army is. For example, you can’t have two units with spears and say one is actually wielding swords.
If a model is not on a correct base size that model can not be used.

Battleplans

Game 1: Power Struggle (pg. 28)
Game 2: Survival of the fittest (pg.30)
Game 3: Tectonic Interference (pg.32)

Scoring

Players will follow the battleplans and AoS rules to score victory points. They shall receive a scoring sheet to fill in grand strategies, battle tactics and scored Victory Points per round. They will deliver this filled in scoring sheet to the staff at the end of their battle.
To determine points, we’ll be using a differential system.

If one player loses their entire army before the final round has been played, calculate the victory points that would still be scored until the end of the battle. You can quickly play or talk this out.

Fairplay

We all take time to come down to a venue and have some fun games with people that enjoy the same hobby. Respect the other players and staff and communicate clearly to each other. If the staff deems your behavior as unacceptable penalties will be issued varying from game loss to disqualification. Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:
- Deliberate slow play
- Cheating
- Loaded dice
- Disrespectful to aggressive behavior be it verbal or physical.
- The wearing of any offensive iconography.

We ask players to solve any rules issues between themselves first. Many issues can be solved by looking up a particular rule or checking an errata. If both players can not come to an agreement they should ask for a judge. The judge’s decision is final.
