Tournament description:

SAGA: Age of Vikings tournament using v2 rules and the changes in the FAQ 2021.
Your sportsmanship, friendly play, and painted armies will make this event a success.

Your warband choice does not need to be final when you register, please contact me before the tournament if you would like to change your choice. Please send me your final warband choice 1 week before the tournament.

Note your registration will only be finalised once payment is received.

9.30-12.00 Round 1: Guard the Loot (Book of Battles)
12.00-12.30 Lunch (sandwiches will be ordered, price tbd)
12.30-15.00 Round 2: Robbing & Ransacking (see rules pack)
15.15-17.45 Round 3: Violation (see rules pack)
17.45-18.30 Awards & announcements

Warband composition:

Points level: 6 points , provide a list at the start of the tournament with (sub)faction (e.g. Merovingian Franks) and number of troop types chosen (e.g. 1pt hearthguard, 4 pt warriors, 1pt Scouts (mercs))
Factions: All Age of Vikings factions (announce your sub-faction at the start), and Skraelings.
Old Friends New Enemies: Yes, using equipment and rules changes in the Age of Vikings book. Use the battleboards from the new Age of Invasions (2021).
Mercenaries: max 1 point using the FAQ table, determined at the start of the tournament and cannot be changed.
Legendary units: No.
Finalize Warband Mustering (FAQ 2021): Yes
Artifacts, Ruses & Acts of Faith: No.
Models must be WYSIWYG.

Terrain deployment follows the method described in the Book of Battles for each scenario.
Pairings are random for round 1 with accommodations if possible, and Swiss pairing in following games.
Scoring: Win 5 tournament points (TP), Draw 3 TP, Loss 1 TP. 1TP for killing the enemy warlord. Scenario points will break ties.
