6th Paris Masters (Summer edition) - Information and Rules

6th PARIS MASTERS 2023

1st-2nd July 2023
10 Teams of 5 players at 4500pts
2 games Saturday and 2 games Sunday.

VENUE
Ballroom City Hall Joinville le Pont. 23 rue de Paris, Joinville le Pont
RER A Station Joinville le Pont (15mn from Paris-Gare de Lyon)
East Highway A4, exit 4 by Paris Porte de Bercy.

FEES
35€ per player, 175€ per team.
No fees for coach (1 per team)
French team must pay by bank check for “Fantastique Bataillon”. Adress: Fabrice Ruard, 2 allée du Pont Olin, 94340 Joinville-le-Pont
Foreign team can pay by bank transfer, please PM the TO (messenger Babnik or fabriceruard@yahoo.fr) for details
This entrance fee entitles each player for 4 games and 1 meal (Sunday 2nd July)
There are many restaurants and supermarkets next to the venue located in city center for the Saturday lunch

HOBBY
All minis must be painted with at least 3 colours.
Basis must be painted and textured
Prime coated minis aren’t accepted and can not be played
WYFIWYG per ETC rules pack.
-Miniatures must reflect the played unit.
An Iron Orc isn’t a Chaos Warriors.
A High Elf citizen can be played as a Dread Elf Silexian Spear
Please contact the TO in case of any doubts for the models you want to field

Dices, rulers, tokens for wounds/veil/spell effects. Dice can’t be used as wounds or veil counter

ETC approved armies books are accepted with the only restriction that each army can be represented only once per team

Rosters will not be sent to the T.O.
Each team will bring printed copies of their rosters to pass to the other captains at the beginning of each round.

In case of minor mistake (no indication on the general, paid equipment but absent in the list, etc…) the incriminated team will be penalized by 5 point for each mistake.
In case of major mistake, (3 arcane items in same character, army points value exceeds 4500pts or wrong book version), penalty will be 10 points

In case a team fails to present 5 players in the morning of Saturday 1st of July, we will implement the following system:
The opposing team will choose among his player which one will not play and the score will be set to 15-5 in favour of the complete team.

Games results will not be posted nor shared online or in social media in order to keep this event informative only for attending teams

PAIRING
Both captain will select an army from his deck to play on table 1 and 2.
Once the two armies are revealed, both captain will select two counter armies and present the two cards face down next to the opponent army card.
Each captain select one army from the two opponent cards to play against his first selected army. The other army goes back in the captain deck.
Both captain has now 3 armies left in his hand.
Repeat the operation for tables 3 and 4. Last step, only 1 army remain in each captain’s hand for table 5.

MAP, SECONDARY OBJECTIVES & DEPLOYMENTS
All tables will be from official Map Pack A1-A8.
Same scenario will be played by all.
Each secondary objective will be played only once during the weekend and will be announced the event’s morning.
Deployment will be randomized by the players after the pairing

Please note that if a team fails to present the scores to the TO when time is up, the team will be penalized by 5 points
