NGWA Escalation League
Rules and Errata
❖ We will be building our Hobby and Painting skills and Armies over the course of 2018
❖ Each participant will select an Army and build / paint an initial force either Unbound or as a Patrol Detachment consisting of at least 1 HQ selection and 1 Troops Selection.
❖ The initial force can be NO MORE than 25 Power Level.
❖ The deadline for painting / assembling is March 25th 2018.
o The initial battle event will take place on this date. Attendance is strongly encouraged though NOT required.
o Should you be unable to attend you will need to play a game with your 25 PL list against another member of the league at some point PRIOR to the next deadline and report the results to the NGWA Facebook or Eric directly.
❖ We will be increasing by 15 PL per event. So, for the April deadline (TBD) we will be increasing to a maximum of 40PL, we will keep increasing until a final tournament of 100 PL is reached.
❖ Since this is about the hobby and growing your force unpainted models are STRONGLY discouraged.
❖ Basing is not required but is also encouraged.
❖ All games / armies will be scored and at the end of the event the winners of the league will be declared, there will be prizes.
❖ Missions will be from the Open War deck initially; however, we may create and post custom missions as the events continue.
❖ Lower PL forces will be able to use the Ruse and Sudden Death cards as per the Open War deck rules.

Scoring
❖ All games will be scored, and points added together to determine a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place league winner.
❖ Armies will be declared and set on the 25th of March o All Models painted to tabletop minimum and based +15 Pts. o All models painted to basecoat minimum and based +10 Pts. o No basing -1 pt. (basing DOES NOT have to be elaborate.)
o Unpainted models are -1 Point PER MODEL. (yes, this can make you go negative) o A win on any league game is +5 Point per game (keep playing between deadlines) o A draw is worth +2 Points per game o Loss is worth +0 points per game o Changing armies -1 Pts.

Games
• You may play as many games with as many members as you like.
• Only the list(s) you start with on the 25th will count.
• Every game vs. another player or list will count.
• If you play two lists you can play each person twice and have every game count!
• You will have from Deadline to deadline to play as much as you can!
• It’s all about building community, gaming, hobbying, and having fun!
