Battle of the Decennium - Information and Rules

First of all fair play and fun is what team battles are about. Enjoy a drink, fun games & great opponents.
2vs2 battles offer a great deal of potential for new tactics to explore so I really hope you will enjoy teaming up to build effective army lists and try and find the ultimate combination that works for you. (but try to steer away from rules exloits)

Keep in mind the alliance rules in the rulebook when building your army. No matter what the end times say, some armies just don't get along (yet).

Battle's start at 10 o'clock

army size: 1000 point per player (2k vs2k battles)
restrictions: teams can not take duplicate magic items (no 2 scrolls, no 2 herdstones ...)

*no army list of "end times" are allowed
*Named or special characters are allowed
*The folding fortress is allowed but a maximum of 30 models will be allowed to enter it.
*Characters receive a "look out Sir" against the following spells : Dwellers Bellow, Final Transmutation and the dreaded 13th. The normal restrictions apply to have this "Look out Sir".
*Magic of Undead is allowed, (as in the GW FAQ) but keep in mind you must have the models of the units you summon (or suitable conversions)
*All current armies are allowed, including chaos dwarves & dogs of war use the ETC pdf & rules
*Battlescrolls may be used if you bring along the rules.
*the > 50% rule for heroes and lords is in effect
-> keep in mind the 3 unit minimum is per player (this does not include characters)
*Painting will effect your scores and matching armies will be rewarded with a drink.

The scenarios will be shared the day of the event.
Catering options are still being discussed but I will keep entrants up to date.

armylists need to be sent in before march (preferably sooner).
questions, suggestions & advice ... can be directed at brecht-at-verborgh.be

Grtz, and looking forward see you all at the Blackborder the 8th of march.
(rule changes and addons can occur up untill the event)
