Paint&Play 40K 11.0 - Déroulement et notation

General:
The game is played with a maximum of 2000p. according to 10 Edition Leviathan and the WTC FAQ (incl. the Völker FAQ)
A fixed 5 rounds are played per game.
Warlord Traits, Relics, Stratagem & the like that are set before the game must be included in the army list according to the rules of the basic rulebook.
Games: 3
Table size: 60x44 inch tables
Everyone is responsible for their own lunch.

Terrain:
The terrain is set up by the organisers before the start of the tournament according to the terrain layouts (as good as possible).
If you are unsure whether the terrain has been moved by the previous games, ask the organisers, they will be happy to set up your tables again.
After the game, the table for the next round must be set up by the participants; the organisers will be happy to help you with any questions.
AO- / DTT-terrain and WTC terrain will be used, the exact rules for the terrain can be found in the MAP-Pack

Pairings / BCP :
- The players for the first game will be paired randomly.
- All further pairings will follow the Swiss system.
- The BCP app will be used for pairing

Points:
The scoring rules of the balanced game apply, including painting points.

Painting requirement:
The army must be painted Battleready, based and completely WYSIWYG. There must be a realistic attempt at painting in the Battleready standard as shown in the rulebook (primer does not count as a finished colour).
Miniatures that are not "Battleready" will be removed from the game. The organisation will check the battleready of the armies and if an army is not battleready, the player will not be given the battleready points, i.e. the player will be deducted 10 points per game.

WYSIWYG:
WYSIWYG applies! Every weapon specified in the army list must also be shown on the model. Exceptions are grenades and conventional secondary armament (e.g. bolt pistols for marines).
If you are unsure whether it is WYSIWYG, ask the organisers before the tournament.
Conversions or models that are not WYSIWYG must be released by the organisers.
Models that are not WYSIWYG and have not been approved by the organisers can be removed by the organisers.

Base sizes:
The correct base for a miniature is the base with which the miniature is supplied by Games Workshop in the current official box. If 2 different base sizes are supplied, both base sizes are permitted, but the same base size must be used for miniatures of the same type throughout the army
Models with incorrect base sizes will not be accepted and will be removed from the table by the organisers.

Rule ambiguity:
To prevent rules issues from turning into debates, proceed as follows:
1. players check the relevant rules in the rulebook, index, codex or FAQ. This often leads to a solution. The English version always takes precedence.
2. if the two players cannot reach an agreement:
-One of the players rolls a die, on a 1-3 player 1 is in the right, on a 4-6 player 2, provided that both players agree with this way of solving the problem. This option is only to be used for problems such as terrain typing, etc.
-The participants consult a referee and submit the relevant rules to him. The referee will examine the facts of the case and make a binding decision.
If a referee realises that rules are being interpreted or played incorrectly, he is permitted to intervene in a game and point out the error. (Active Judging)

Chess clock:
In principle, every player is entitled to demand that a game be played with a chess clock. The player requesting the chess clock must then provide his OWN chess clock. If a chess clock is used, it must be used in accordance with the WTC chess clock rules. In game 5, a chess clock must be used for match-ups with a chance of overall victory.

Game result:
If a result is not available after 3 hours, the match is automatically scored 0:0.
The match result can be submitted as a sheet to the organisers, who will enter it into BCP, or you can enter it into BCP yourself.
It is not possible to subsequently change the score due to incorrect totalling or forgotten painting points.

Sanctions:
For participants who are caught disregarding the Code of Conduct or behaving in any other unsportsmanlike manner, the following system will be used:
- Yellow card = first warning. The participant will be informed of their misbehaviour and should
calm down. Misbehaviour also includes filling in the scorecard incorrectly or handing in the scorecard too late, as well as other actions that disrupt the course of the tournament. 50 points will also be deducted from the overall ranking.
- Red card = exclusion from the tournament. There will be no reimbursement of costs.
- Double red card = if you have already received a red card in previous tournaments and receive another red card, you will be excluded from future tournaments.
Discussions with the organisers or the judge will also lead to warnings.

Use your common sense to know for yourself what is considered "misbehaviour".

Deadline:
for the lists must be submitted at least one week before the tournament using the app BCP (Best Coast Pairing).
Please write the lists with Battlescribe or Onlinecodex.
If you do not meet the deadline, 20 points will be deducted from your overall ranking.
