Tournoi Jurassien KoW - Informations et règlement

This is a 2-day, 2300 pts, 5 game tournament. Most importantly it is a friendly event with players of all skill levels attending. It will however be used to towards masters France qualification.

The tournament will be run in English as it is an international event (and my French ain’t that good). Translation will be provided from other attendees.

Army List Submission
Army Lists must be submitted through the Mantic companion app by midnight on Sunday 12 October using the tournament link:

Payment:
50€
Upon arrival in cash.
Food and lodging is included in the attendance fee.

Confirmation of attendance:
There will be a last call on Sunday Oct. 5 to confirm planned attendance. If there are last minute cancellations, the TO will be joker.

Awards
The player finishing in first place will become Best General. Second and third place will receive awards too.
Additionally, there will be a hobby award for the best painted army.

To take part you require the following:
- Your 2,300-point army, mounted on correct-sized unit bases with at least 1 model in the appropriate size. No painting requirements.
- At least two printed copies of your army list for you and your opponents rule book, tape-measure, dice, damage markers, pencils, and other gaming accessories.
- A chess clock, stop-watch, phone, or other similar time-tracking device
- It is highly recommended that you bring a smart phone with the Mantic companion installed for reporting of results and viewing matchups.

We will provide all the tables and scenery for the event.

Special Rule
Each player can reroll 1 single die in the tournament, it does not have to be a nerve roll.
To do this just tell a TO before doing the roll.

Forests: H6
Obstacles: H1
Hills: H3
Difficult: H0

Optional Rules
The optional rules on Withdraw, Allies and Command Dice will not be used for this event.

Friday
Arrival possible Friday evening however no meals provided. Please tell me if you need to be picked up from the train station. I cannot pick up players Saturday morning however.

Each round will last 2 hours and 45 minutes. This allows for each player to have their full 75 minutes, plus an additional 15 minutes for meeting,
rules discussions and any other required midgame breaks.

Scoring and pairing
We will use the Northern Kings Scoring System and Swiss pairing via the App. Random first pairings.

Win/Draw/Loss 15/10/5 TP
Killing Points: Max of 5 TP
Scenario Points: Max of 5 TP

Players will submit their Result, Scenario Points, and Points Routed via the Mantic Companion app (or via paper if you don’t have a phone) and the score calculation will be done automatically.

Food and Lodging
You will be assigned rooms. Each room has 1-3 beds and a full bathroom. Please bring pillows. Otherwise bedding, blankets and towels are provided.
