Wuschelkätzchen 3: Third Time's the Meow - Turnierablauf und Wertung

We will use all published rules and Kill Teams of the 2024 edition with the most recent FAQs/Dataslates (counting releases up until one week prior to the tournament).

There will be tables with Volkus, Octarius and ITD terrain.
Missions, pre-game sequences, etc. will be handled like in the 2024 Approced Ops.
All table layouts will be set up and remain that way for the whole tournament, but the crit op mission will shift each round.

Every player needs to bring the following thing to the tournament:
- a killteam 2024 roster with up to 20 operatives
- models that represent the operatives on said roster sheet (WYSIWYG*)
- measuring sticks/tape
- dice
- 2024 approved ops cards, or another way to reveal and hide tac ops/primary mission
- all relevant rules for your Kill Team
- some way of reliably tracking command points and victory points
- markers for engage/conceal order, equipments, items, etc
- tokens and terrain equipment models if you plan on using those equipment options

* What you see is what you get -> the models used for your Killteam should be GW models with the correct equipment, as described in the roster. Kitbashes are certainly allowed, but please check in with the TO for confirmation.

Every player has 3 rounds to play. Pairing will be done through a path-to-victory swiss system. The final ranking is based on win/loss-ratio, tac ops points and path-to-victory, in that order.

Schedule:
09:20-09:30 -> signup, Kill Team check, speech
09:30-12:30 -> round 1
12:30-13:30 -> lunch break
13:30-16:30 -> round 2
16:30-19:30 -> round 3
19:30 -> victory ceremony

For proper time management, here's a general suggestion for each round:
- 10 minutes per player to select and explain their Kill Team and equipment, as well as selecting tac ops and primary mission (aka 10 minutes per player for pregame)
- 20 minutes per player per turningpoint
- 10 minutes to submit your result and as break between games

It is not mandatory, but encouraged to use a chess clock to keep track of your time during games. Only one of the players needs to insist on using a chess clock for one to be implemented, but said player needs to provide one. If someone's time runs, that player can no longer use strategic/tactical ploys/gambits do any action outside of passing, retaliating and rolling saves.

It isn't mandatory to come with a painted Kill Team, but there will be an award for best painted team.

Signups:
A guaranteed slot will only be granted to those who paid the full tournament fee and submitted a legal roster (via email). Cut-off time will be the 9. February 23:59. Lunch is not included in the tournament fee. There will be the option to order lunch via delivery services.
