http://mesnilstdenisw40k.forumactif.net/forum.htm

Miniature
It has to be WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). If not the miniature can be refused by your opponent and count as destroyed during the game.

Count as is possible, BUT models have to be the same size as the original GW models.

Forge World rules are not allowed. Only Forge World models for normal W40K can be played, like Drop pod, rhino...Ask us if in doubt.

Rules applying to this tournament

The following Q & A will be used :
- Line of Sight on vehicle models need to be at least 1inch wide to the main part of the vehicle, spikes don't count.
- Line of sight on model need 50% of this model.

French clarifications will be used (we can explain those if asked) :
http://www.frenchwaaagh.org/butin/butin_pdf/clarifications_tournoi.pdf

Pairing
Each captain throw a dice, the winner chose between captain A and B positions.
The 4 players play on the same side of the tables. So the captain who lose choose one side for all tables.
Then the pairing will take place:

1 Captain A put the 1st army list of his chosing of his chosing on one table.
2 Captain B put his 1st army list of his chosing on one table.
3 Captain A put his 2nd army list of his chosing on one table.
4 Captain B put his 2nd army list of his chosing on one table.
5 Captain B put his 3rd army list of his chosing on one table.
6 Captain A put his 3rd army list of his chosing on one table.
7 Captain B put his 4th army list of his chosing on last table.
8 Captain A put his 4th army list of his chosing on last table.

You have to notice that you can choose another table than the one your opponent captain just chose. After an army list of his chosing is put it's impossible to remove it or change his table.

Scenarii

Some scenarios will be home made, other will come from the BBB.
Scenarii will be splitted into two parts:

Victory points (page 300 of the BBB):
- Win: 2 points of scenarios
- Draw: 1 points of scenarios
- Loose: 0 points of scenarios

Objectives points (normal v5 rules):
- Win: 2 points of scenarios
- Draw: 1 points of scenarios
- Loose: 0 points of scenarios

Thus each player can get 0 to 4 points, so the team can get 16 points. Refer to the following table to known how many tourney points you will win:

- 13 to 16 points of scenarios Major win = 7 points of tourney
- 10 to 12 points of scenarios Win win = 5 points of tourney
- 7 to 9 points of scenarios Draw win = 3 points of tourney
- 0 to 6 point(s) of scenarios Loose win = 1 points of tourney

Grudge Games
Before the tourney you can grudge a team. Upon acceptance of the grudge, both teams will play against each other in the first round. You can only grudge once !

Rankings will be computed in the following ways:

- 49 points from games
- 6 points for army customization & painting
- 7 point for army composition
- 6 points for Team spirit
- 6 points for fair-play and miscellaneous points

Army customization & painting (6 points per team)
Each player will receive between 0 and 6 points for his army (not only painting, but also modelling, conversions, idea, works time...). The average note between teams will be around 4/6.

Army composition (7 points per team)
The softer you play the more army composition scores you will receive.

Team spirit (6 points per team) or "Charisme D'équipe" (literally ‘team charisma’)
You can put here everything in relationship with your team: team fluff (or theme), team t-shirt, costumes... It's up to you to surprise us.

Last year (2008) some team shown up dressed like fighters of the 300 movie (for daemon hunter team), other in Templar, or in Mem In Black to kill all the big bugs. Other wrote fluff pieces longer than an arm.... Each team is expected to contribute to the show.!

Fair-play and miscellaneous points (6 points per team)

- All team will start with thee 6 points, and some points will be taken off as penalties by the referees if they deem it appropriate. Likely occurrences are fair play issues, if your are late (sending army list, upon attendance...)...
