| Beschreibung: | Format: 3 Swiss rounds will determine the outcome of a one-day Firestorm Bagration campaign. Entry Fee: FREE! Time Period: Mid/Late War. Army Size: 1750 pts. Time Schedule: * 10:00am check in/registration * 10:30 turn 1 * 12:30 lunch break * 13:00 turn 2 * 15:00 turn 3 * 17:00 judging/scoring * 17:30 awards Prizes: actual prize payout will depend on level of support from Battlefront Miniatures, but we tentatevly plan on awarding prizes for the following categories: Iron Cross Best Overall: The Iron Cross award will be bestowed upon the general who achieves the best combined score in the victory, sportsmanship and painting categories. In WWII this medal recognized extreme battlefield bravery or successful leadership. Order of Lenin Sportsmanship Award: In WWII this medal was often awarded to those who promoted friendship and cooperation between peoples and in strengthening peace. The Order of Alexander Nevsky Painting Award: Before the outbreak of WWII, the Order of alexander Nevsky was awarded to distinguished Russian citizens who had served their country with honor, mostly through political or military service. After 1942, the Order has been regarded solely as a military award. | |
