Many thanks to the Conect'r Team for organizing 17th Conflict Tournament! A few comments about the event:

+++
+ players coming from all 4 corners of Belgium and abroad
+ 2 referees available at all time
+ projection screen for pairings & clock
+ lunch: 2 hot-dogs: delicious and fast delivery
+ barmen coming around the tables to taking drink orders

- --
- the terrain / scenery: as already stated by other players, too large and most were not easy to handle

Looking forward to next year's 18th Conflict!!

Awesome job guys.
About the schedule: although none of us (adversaries and me) stalled the game we never got past 4th turn. Maybe try to get an extra half hour in there?
Tables and terrain: nice scenery but some pieces were pretty big... HUGE actually...
Assortment: I love the buns, the pie and the drinks. As for the hotdogs: last year (Pasta cups? Fries?) it was better...

J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'organisation, la disponibilité des membres du club et de manière générale l'ambiance.

Je me permets tout de même de m'associer au commentaire précédent relatif aux décors. Les décors, bien que magnifiques, étaient beaucoup trop grands; ils pénalisent certaines listes d'armées.

Peut-être aurait il fallu en inclure moins sur les tables quitte à ne pas utiliser le T9A map pack.

I very much enjoyed the tournament and playing against three people from three different countries. Location and orga were very well.
Costs for some of the food was a bit high (2€ for cake...).
Would very much like to come again!

The use of the official T9A map packs was a good idea!
But the terrain pieces were often a bit too big and confusing (a large hill like structure being water terrain for instance). It is understandable though, the terrain itsself is very nicely built and looks good on the table.
