| Description: | Warhammer Fantasy Battles Tournament “Battaglia dei tre castelli” Casa del Popolo, Viale Stazione 31, 6500 Bellinzona Sunday 20 September, 9.00 to 18.45 How to reach the location by train: Relax and travel to Bellinzona with the Swiss Railways. Until arrived exit the railway station and just 100 m on your left you see the yellow building of Casa del Popolo. How to reach the location by car: Exit the highway at Bellinzona North and then enter the city. Follow the signals for the railway station and simply park your car on the railway station parking: Casa del Popolo is simply in front of you now. About the location: Casa del Popolo is a restaurant, which means you can eat and drink whatever you want. We kindly advice You to use this offer and we recommend You to not drink or eat home brought stuff. The tournament took place on the first floor, in an air conditioned room and on professional tournament tables. Rules: We use the ETC Council 2009 rules and the tournament system of FIGW (Warhammer Federation Italy). For further details please consult www.figw.org, http://www.wh-etc.com/en/whfb/rules or contact the organizer. Please note that the newest Italian version on www.figw.org will overrule ALL ancient rules. In order to be ranked You must subscribe (no fee) the www.figw.org site and become member. The tournament is open to the first 16 entries. Your participation is confirmed only if (1) You send the army-list by email to organizer until Friday 18 September 2009, 22.00 Central European Time and (2) You receive a confirmation email from the organizer (normally this will took place until Saturday 19 September, 12.00 Central European Time). This confirmation email doesn’t mean your list is ok, only that you are one of the first 16 entries. Further army-list verifications will follow, but will be communicated only at the beginning of the tournament (it is up to You to send a “perfect” list). The tournament took place over 3 rounds, first round paired by the FIGW-software, then paired according to the Swiss system. Each game 2.5 hours / 6 turns; tables 72x48 inches; terrain set up by referees; maps of terrain on the table; army size 2000, 2250 or 2500 (consult the ETC Council 2009 rules please); no painting. Schedule: 9.00-9.30 Inscription, 9.30-12.00 First round, 13.00-15.30 Second round, 15.45-18.15 Third round, 18.30-18.45 prices. Costs: The costs for the tournament are 15 CHF (10 Euro). With the entry You receive a ticket for one coffee or one non-alcoholic beverage. | |
