Terrific event! Thanks again to Nikki and the War Tavern!
Only points of improvements I see:
* choice of scenario: having 1/3 of scenarios with requirement to have an option to forward deploy/move to get your Turn 1 CP quite strongly impact some armies. Great to know the scenarios played in advance though! That allowed to avoid a "feel bad" moment if one had discovered that on the spot.
* aeration: I'm not expecting windows to appear at the venue, but may it be possible to use a fan/open windows to cool the place a bit during breaks (at least lunch break)?

Point I particularly appreciated:
* availability and presence of War Tavern staff. The shop is super cool, and it was nice to be able to discuss with them about the hobby. Made it quite compelling to do impulse-buy, even more so because it's terrific they provide a nice playing location at a reasonable entry price.
* clarity on points/ranking calculation. Without being competitive, it's great to be able to follow rankings in real-time.
* clarity of communication before the event: standardized list format, clear deadlines, tongue-in-cheek humor. Thanks again!

le seul petit point négatif c'était 1-2 table à décors asymétrique alors que tout le monde est venu avec des listes solides. Et les décors non-WTC sont très peu pratiques pour jouer en tournois (notamment car les murs sont souvent trop épais ou les cratères ne sont pas plats et rendent la micro-gestion difficile)
