voor mijn eerste toernooi vond ik het geweldig. ook al was er niet veel parkeer gellegenheid, en was de tijd uitgelope, en was er voor de 3de ronde wat verwaring door dat de lijst meerdere keren moets hervormt worde. er was geweldig terein en de andere spelers waren ook gewoon "great".
en ik hoor nu dat de "meat balls" legendaris zijn verklaart. ik geef iedereen ook geleik daar (ook al was mijn bord kapot en heeft de saus mijn linker-pink verbrand )
mij zie je volgend jaar zeker terug en dan ga ik voor 1 plaats hoger!

I enjoyed the event a lot and I'm looking forward to future events organised by you guys.

Once again a good tournament by the Leuven boys and, yes, the timetable was a bit screwed up, but I guess that's what you get for a first big (pointswise) tournament in a new edition. Everybody's still getting used to the new rules, so in my opinion that was to be expected.

Thanks to all my opponent's for making this an awesome day. A special shoot-out to Paul: you were right, once you go black... :)

Once again a great tournament, nice work and still a great turnout with 60 people even though the date was moved because of the double booking of the venue.

Regarding FW proxies, yes I proxied contemptor dreads (WYSIWYG weapons offcourse. , but game one had me facing 7 flyers. Without the dreads I'd have had no AA options in my Dark Angels codex, so it was a bit of a necessity. ;) That's what made the no flyer limit bearable, and even with that it was a very tight fought game which could have gone either way till the very end. Overall I feel flyers and FMC are something that is ok to play against if they are not limited and FW is allowed, if they are not to many codexes are just handicapped. It's not a fun game if you deploy and haver no chance to play the game. So I feel the organisation judged will in this regard.

I had 3 nice opponents, terrain was diverse and enough and the missions where pretty good (Some tweaking could be done, but for a 6th tournament so early after release they worked out well.)

So a very nice tournament experience with no negatives for me, well worth the drive from Holland!

Meatballs baby! My first visit and a very pleasant day. Many thanks to Tom and his acolytes for such a huge organisation; thanks to all those friendly people that made me feel welcome; and most of all: a big thanks to those merciless (!), friendly and cool opponents that made for some enjoyable moments. I'll be back!

Time limit is indeed a problem, especially if you only get to see the value of objectives on turn 3 of the last game (the mission might work better if you get to play 5-6 turns).

It's also kindof a pitty when playing against forgeworldunits they are represented by proxies and thus maybe only taken for pure gamepower (to specify : i've only encountered this once during a game, it did not bother me that much, there were also many nicely painted FW models on the displaytrays).

I know with 6th it is not easy

it was a very nice day in Belgium!
There is one "bad" thing I have to mention. The time for one game is not enough. I have not finshed one game and normaly I am very fast player. Perhaps something is possible in this point?
But anyway it was one of the nicest tournaments I have ever visited. I'll be back :-)

It was a fun tournament, but the last scenario the measurements where a bit off :p

Als vlaming zijnde stoorde het me wel immens dat ik tegen 2 opponents uitkwam die zowel geen nederlands als engels konden. Dit is zeer frustrerend om tegen te spelen en zorgt ervoor dat die 2 games compleet overbodig waren voor mij, aangezien ik niet een uber speler ben (veel eerder een painter, daarmee dat ik niet 100% vertrouwd ben met de regels), en vaak wist ik niet wat ze aan het doen waren. Het zou toch handig zijn dat op dergelijke toernooien op zijn minst 1 taal gehanteerd zou kunnen worden waarmee iedereen overweg kan.

For me with the V6 to much.... We hadn't gone past turn 3 so it is a draw that was the only problem on the tournement, the rule draw when you don't arrive in turn 4 is not good.
For the rest very happy to see a lot of people that I have the big pleasure to meet.
