Into the Under-Ekeren IV - Information and Rules

Welcome to the third tournament for Warhammer Underworlds, organised by the Tin Soldiers of Antwerp.

As this tournament follows the Nemesis format, so keep in mind the banned (aka Forsaken) cards are being upheld, more info on the current list on the Warhammer Community website

In this tournament, we will be using the NEMESIS format, with decks and warbands as they are released by Games Workshop up to the 25th of july 2026!!!

The tournament will consist of 5 rounds, each played to a Best of 1 format, and following the timetable as below:

Doors open at 9h30

Registration: 9h45 - 10h00

Round 1: 10h00 - 11h00

Round 2: 11h10 - 12h10

Lunch break: 12h15 - 13h00

Round 3: 13h00 - 14h00

Round 4: 14h10 - 15h10

Round 5: 15h30 - 16h30

Award Ceremony: 16h45

This timetable allows for ample and relaxed playtime, and some casual bantering in between games. It also takes into account that the TO can get a game in, and still have time to do the points maths in between rounds. In case everything goes smoothly, this schedule might speed up a little once all results are in and next round pairings have been made.

The pairings for the first round will be "guided", in order to prevent people playing opponents from their local gaming group as an opener. Subsequent pairings will be based on your standings as per normal tournament play.

Points are awarded by 3 points for a win, 1 point in case of a draw and 0 points for the unfortunate case of a loss. Should you lose by a tie-breaker on a draw, you will get 1 point instead of 0 points instead, the winner still taking 3 points home. Glory Points will be noted for any tie-breakers in the final ranking. In case people then STILL would be tied, which is very unlikely, the result of their battle will count as the final placer.

Practicalities:

Registration is confirmed the moment of entering, I can arrange a table or two more if needed. Entry fee payment by Payconiq or cash the day of the event itself.

Pre-payment is preferred, as these will be used to put together the sets in the price pool

Drinks available at the venue, no own drinks allowed. Food can be ordered at your own leisure.

There will be price support for the Winner, the warband ending with the fewest glory points and the Best Painted Warband. A small gift will also be handed out to all joining players.
In addition, there will also be a price for the player who ends the highest with a warband that still is forced to use the "generic" Grand Alliance warscrolls, like Skaeth's Wild Hunt or Garrek's Reavers, because these warbands of era's past also deserve some love after all. Please mind, IF a warband has it's own personal warscroll, they of course can't use the Grand Alliance ones and are not eligible for this additional price.
