| Description: | Centerpiece Showdown RTT Rules Pack The Centerpiece Showdown RTT is a one-day, three-round Age of Sigmar Rogue Trader Tournament (RTT) held at Total Escape Games in Broomfield, CO on Oct. 9th. The Tournament uses the game’s latest 3rd edition ruleset. Additionally, the tournament uses the Pitched Battle 2021 Battlepack rules found in the General’s Handbook 2021. 1.0 General Information Points Limit: 2,000 Max Players: 26 Entry Fee: $25 due by player check-in Rules Update and FAQ Cut-Off: Sept. 25th¹ Army Roster Deadline: Oct. 2 Army Roster Format: Plain text (Army Summary) format from the official Warscroll Builder Army Roster Submission: Please use Best Coast Pairings to submit your army roster Armies do not have to painted to play, but must be at Parade-ready standard to be considered for the painting prize 2.0 Battleplans Round 1: Savage Gains (p. 24) Round 2: Power in Numbers (p. 42) Round 3: Power Struggle (p. 28) 3.0 Scoring Each round, players earn Battle Points equal to the number of Victory Points they accumulated during the game. Additional Battle Points are awarded depending on the results of the game with a 10-point bonus for a Major Victory and a 5-point bonus for a Minor Victory. The top three players with the highest cumulative Battle Points after three rounds of play will be declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. TO’s Note: Since final rankings for the event are based on cumulative Battle Points, it is in your favor not to concede a battle but to attempt to complete the game or use as much of the allotted round time as possible to maximize your Battle Points. 4.0 Schedule of Events 10am-10:30am: Player check-in, payment and packet pickup 10:30am-1:30pm: Round 1 1:30pm-2:30pm: Lunch & Painting Review 2:30pm-5:30pm: Round 2 5:45pm-8:45pm: Round 3 9pm-9:30pm: Awards 5.0 Prizes and Awards Gift certificates to Total Escape Games will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. Pretzel Paint Studios is providing a $150 commission painting voucher as a BONUS PRIZE to the 1st place finisher. Additionally, a portion of the prize pool will be awarded to the player with the Best Painted Parade-ready army as judged by the TO Team, store staff and our sponsors. 6.0 Special Rules 6.1 Terrain Features Each battlefield’s terrain features will be set up ahead of time and will remain static throughout the event. As a result, not all terrain features may adhere to the placement rules on p.11 of the GHB21. 6.2 Mysterious Terrain Instead of the Defender rolling on the Mysterious Terrain table, the TO will designate applicable scenery rules prior to play. 6.3 Proxy Models Proxy models must be WYSIWYG as written in the DESCRIPTION of the unit’s warscroll. All proxy models must be submitted for approval no later than Oct 2. Please send a small .jpeg of your model(s) to denverageofsigmar@gmail.com with the subject line: Centerpiece Proxy. 6.4 Tie-Breakers In the event of a tie, the player who completed a greater number of Battle Tactics will be declared higher in rank. If a tie continues to persist, then the player who completed a greater number of Grand Strategies will be declared higher in rank. If a tie still persists, the player with the greater number of Major victories will be declared higher in rank. 6.5 Rules Disputes It is encouraged to focus on the game and leave any rules disputes to the TO so that each player can maximize their time having fun and earning Battle Points.
