| Description: | 1. Scenarios will be determined via the 'rules of engagement' PDF on the LVGamers yahoo group, located here: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/LVGamers/files/Ironman%20Tournaments/ ...with the following changes/additions: 1. Players will dice off to determine who chooses which deployment zone (note that the army strategy rating is not part of this roll.) The winner sets up first and goes first or sets up second and goes second. 2. The player going first deploys all his units first, not alternating with the other player as in the ROE pdf. 3. Objectives may not be placed in impassible terrain. 4. Only "troops" category models may count towards claiming an objective when within 3". The other types of models listed in the ROE pdf may contest, but not count as scoring. 5. All special rules such as deep strike, scouts and infiltrate are in effect in every game, regardless of scenario objectives. 6. Game length will not be fixed at six turns but instead will follow the random game length rules found in the 40K rule book. 2. This allows us to begin when the doors open. 1000-1030: list checking by judge 1030-1230: game 1 1230-1300: lunch break, painting scoring by judge 1315-1515: game 2 1530-1730: game 3 1730-1800: final score counting, awards. Entry fee $10 dollars - waived with the purchase of $40 or more in GW products on the day of the event. Prizes based on attendance. | |
