Dernières News28/07/25 07:28Practicalities Dear participants, As the registration deadline is closing in on us, it might be time for some practical information about the event... 1. The venue When driving to the location, you will come on a small inroad with a large sign stating "Den Deugniet". This is the inlet you need to take, and after 50 meters you will find on your right a large indoor playground. Luckily, our clubhouse is located on the left, with parking in front and to the side of it. The building is a "dirty white" and I will be present from 9.15 onwards. 2. Payment at and for the event For purposes of consumptions, all your drinks and such will be noted on a paper, to be arranged at the end of the tournament. Payment is possible by cash or Payconiq (prefered). The same goes for the entry fee, though if you like to make your TO's life a bit easier, it is also possible to pay this up front by banktransfer and this would be greatly appreciated. Account number is BE35 9790 8831 2037 on the name of Tom Murrath. Please metion "Under-Ekeren" and your name in the description. 3. Food We will be offering hot dogs at a cheap price, but it is also allowed to either bring your own food, order through Take-Away or the likes (if the delivery guy runs a bit late, we can shift a little in the time schedule). There is also a sandwich bar located in the gasstation across the street. 4. Orval One of Belgian's best beers, and in the world, and it is available *this day only* at the clubhouse, so make sure to try one. Don't try to many though if you need to drive with the car afterwards, this is a Belgian Trappist, not a Coors Light or other toiletwater. 5. Just in case... If there are any questions or if you are running a bit late on the day itself, or have trouble finding the venue, I can be reached on whatsapp on the number (+32) (0)488 229 112. Please do note I work night shifts, so your questions (until friday afternoon) are likely to be answered during the late evening / early night hours, as I'll be sleeping during daytime. No worries for saturday, I'll be fresh as a bird (sort off). 6. Pairings As mentioned in the rulespack, pairings for round 1 will be "guided" to not put people of the same group or community against each other. There have been issues with pairing software in the past, this *should* be solved (and the TO is an experienced "pen and paper pairer" from the old days), but if you for some reason find yourself against the same opponent a second time, just call and we will adjust. 7. And finally... In the very unlikely chance that GW releases a FAQ today or during the coming week, as the "what's allowed deadline" passed the 25th, those will NOT be in use. The tournament will be played with how the warbands, cards and rules where on sunday 27th of july midnight, aka past night.
